Okay, a couple days ago I heard thumping on the laundry room window, so I got up off my lazy ass expecting to see one of the cats mauling a moth, but instead I find this rufous-sided towhee bouncing madly about the lilac bushes and attacking the window. He's been doing this for three days now, attacking three separate windows on the front of the house - the laundry room window, the window in the TV room, and my sister's bedroom window - and the stupid thing shows no signs of stopping. We had the same problem with a robin at our old house that came back two or three years in a row. As far as I can figure out, it's a territorial thing. He sees his reflection in the window, and, thinking it's another bird, attacks it. Repeatedly. The cats love it, though.
I'll probably move this to scraps later because the photos kinda suck... and they probably look worse on your screen because mine is fucked up DX
You should just sit below the window wearing camo with a butterfly net and wait. Then when he starts attacking the window: *SWISH* Your very own towee.

I'm half tempted to let it inside, but I know that'd be very stupid.
